The Lullaby from Hansel and Gretel (Humperdink)

The very gingerbread house from the famous scene, filled with cream and red currents. So very soperific that you will feel like dreaming the minute you put it on. One of the prettiest foodies I have ever made. Named after the most famous song Englebert Humperdink ever wrote in his wonderful opera performed around this time of year, Hansel and Gretel. We just heard it at the Univ. of Cincinnati College conservatory of Music and it was excellent (a wonderful place to go if you are ever in Cincinnati...totally Broadway quality at a pittance, and they do place a lot of students on Broadway). <----small amount of horn tooting.
