Virginia - humidity

Virginia is one of the most charming states, and that is probably why I associate it's amazing humidity with good things like the almost supernatural way fragrance is captured and held by the air in the summer. Honeysuckle has every note wrung out of the blossom on a languid night in Virginia. This is one of the prettiest and most floral most feminine most striking perfumes I have ever created, and it is not suitable for work but only for the business of love. I just recreated the scent I smelled of the first honeysuckle blooming from a hidden bower in my backyard. All of the contrasting chlorophyll/hothouse greenery, and all the emollient dewy sweet creamy whiteflower finery of the flower itself. USA, floral, hypnotic and I would call it "narcotic"*.

*It isn't really a narcotic, but that is really one of the perfumers' terms for describing a fragrance.

Mouef, un floral foody, ça sent vraiment mauvais.
