| This fragrance is inspired by a cookie recipe inspired by one of my all-time favorite books. In Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal (the ultra-orthodox may not enjoy this book, but it's a must for anyone with a sense of humor, regardless of where you fall on the religious spectrum), Biff is terminally smitten by Mary Magdalene, called Maggie. He describes her as smelling like lemons and cinnamon, which just stuck in my in head. It occurred to me that this would be a fabulous twist on the classic French madeleine, and that's how my Magdalene cookie was born. My baking skills, however, don't quite match my perfumery, and the idea fell by the wayside until recently. My first official bakery scent, this one, like my others, has a grown-up twist. Layered into the lemon cookie sweetness are touches of cinnamon, sandalwood, egyptian musk, and soft yellow rose. | |

| J'aime beaucoup mais il ne tient vraiment pas... Pour un citron il est très bien = pas acide, peut être grace à la cannelle mais franchement je ne la sens pas en tant que tel. On dirait un petit gâteau sec au citron, c'est tout doux. | |
